he RMALSB annual conference will now be held September 29 to October 1, 2017, at the Manor Vail Lodge, in Vail, CO.   We were originally scheduled to hold the conference at the Hotel Talisa, but construction delays associated with a hotel remodel forced a last-minute change of plans.  If you booked a room at the Hotel Talisa, you should have received a refund of any deposit.

Our room block at Manor Vail Lodge is currently full.  And because the hotel is near capacity, the rack rate for the remaining rooms is quite high.  There are several hotels nearby with vacancies, including the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort.

The conference registration fee is $170. The registration fee is discounted to $150 for participants who stay at the conference hotel one night, and $130 for those who stay both nights.  We are encouraging participants to stay at the hotel in order to meet our contractual commitment to book a block of rooms.  Breakfast and lunch are included in the conference fee.  An optional Friday night dinner adds $15 to your total fee.

Papers are welcome in either of two tracks: submission-stage track or work-in-progress track. Awards will be offered for Best Paper and Best Idea at the end of the conference.

If you have any other question about the conference, please contact Matt Thue at matthew.thue@usu.edu.
